Physiotherapy - Reflecting Your Needs...

Physiotherapists aim to restore function and normal movement, alleviate pain, improve strength and physical well-being. Using an advanced knowledge of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, we are able to assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. We specialise in dealing with musculoskeletal (including sports) injuries, neurological rehabilitation and post-operative rehabilitation such as after hip and knee replacements. We use a wide range of treatments, including manual therapy, massage, electrotherapy, exercise and acupuncture. Physiotherapy can help you recover faster from an injury but also addresses injury prevention.

The focus of physiotherapy as a healthcare profession is in maximising function and movement by using physical approaches to promote, maintain and restore an individual’s physical, psychological and social well-being, taking into account variations in health status (Ref CSP 2002).
